In this blog post, we’ll give you an overview of everything you need to know about Aurora 7 Park so you can plan your visit.

Aurora 7 Park is a public park located in Boulder, Colorado. The park is named after the seven astronauts who lost their lives in the Space Shuttle Challenger disaster on January 28, 1986. The park was dedicated on July 19, 1988, and includes a playground, a basketball court, and a walking path.

The idea for Aurora 7 Park began shortly after the Space Shuttle Challenger disaster. A group of local residents formed the Challenger Memorial Committee to create a memorial to the seven astronauts who had lost their lives. The committee ultimately decided to create a park rather than a monument, in order to create a space where the community could come together and celebrate humanity’s achievements in space exploration.
